Speedometer CalibrationMercedes-Benz vehicles have different ECUs depending on it’s engine’s model and power. Thus the speedometer could be a little off, showing slightly different (higher or lower) values from the actual speed. Therefore, the device has a function for the speedometer arrow calibration. To calibrate the speedometer you need to press and hold the “Plus” button (on the right side of the steering wheel) for five seconds. After holding the button for five seconds the speed will start to increase. Release the button when the desired value is reached. To decrease the speed press and hold the “Minus” button. Repeat if necessary. Calibration should be performed on an empty road without many traffic lights (if any). Use a GPS device (or any smartphone app) to verify actual speed.
