MERCEDES BENZ 220 4 CYL 615 DIESEL ENGINE LOW MILEAGE + AUTO TRANSMISSION To The Best Of MyKnowledge It Has Less Than 40,000 Miles On The Engine and Was Manufactured in 1979 This 4 Cylinder 220 Diesel Engine Was Removed From A Running 1970 MB 220. The Engine was Installed In The Mid 1980’s As A Complete New Engine From Mercedes Including Vacuum Pump, Injector, water pump,starter, injectors, glow plugs, Etc. AfterThe Engine Was Installed In The 71 220 It Was Rear Ended And Repaired Front And Rear With New MB Parts, Eventually The Chassis Rusted Out From The Crash And That Was The End Of Driving It! I Bought It For Body Parts For A Restoration 15+Years Ago, (From The MB Mechanic That Installed It) drove it home Removed The Engine And Transmission And Stored Them In One Of My Dry Shop/Barns as a Potential Back Up For One Of My Diesels That Never Died! It Was Installed In The 71 220 By A Professional MB Mechanic And It Has Never Had Any Fuel Other Than Diesel (No Corn Oil) And To The Best Of My Knowledge It Has Less Than 40,000 Miles, IT Ran And Started Good When I Bought It 15 YearsAgo. I Am Including In The Sale The Automatic Transmission From The 71 220 That Has A Lot More Miles On It, But Worked Great When I Removed It. I Am Also Including Several Spare Parts Including The Diesel Ignition Wiring And Key,Motor Mounts For The W115 And W123 Chassis, Exhaust Manifold For W115 And W123,The Correct Fan And Spacer, Two Different Crankshaft Pulleys Etc.
