Vehicle Details We bought this car in mid-2013 so that we could participate in the neighborhood carpool, schlepping the kids to and from school. (The car has third-row seating). But now that the kids have all grown up, we find ourselves using this car less and less. I want to point out that this car is a diesel, so it gets good mileage, has a lot of torque, and has about a 700-mile range on a full tank of fuel. I believe that later versions of this vehicle require diesel additive (AdBlue) for emissions control reasons. This car does not require that. The car comes with Weather-Tech floor mats, which are a big help, especially here in rainy Oregon. You also get the two key fobs. I believe this car originated in Florida, and then was sold to a gentleman in California before we found it on eBay and had it shipped to Oregon. Thus, I do not believe the car has ever been exposed to a salty road. The car had the transmission replaced around 2014, and then had the turbocharger replaced around 2015. We had the air conditioner replaced, at least a part of it, around 2016. The air compressor for the suspension went out a few years ago, so we had that replaced. This car runs very, very well, but there are a few issues. These are not real “points of pain,” but in the interest of full disclosure, you should be aware of them: 1. The passenger side window up/down control works in one direction. That is, you can roll the window down, but to roll the window back up, you have to use the control on the driver’s side (which controls all of the windows). 2. The coin tray in the center portion of the dashboard is stuck open. It was like that when we bought the car. I just stuck a rag in there to jam it shut, otherwise it is hard to access the 12 V phone charger, which is immediately beneath the coin tray. 3. The radio/CD player work and sound great. But it has a tendency to shut itself off about every 45 minutes. Not sure why it does that. I usually just turn it back on. The volume control on the steering wheel does not work, but the volume and other stereo controls on the dash work just fine. 4. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System indicator is on. I have never actually had to use it, since I keep my tires pretty well inflated all the time. 5. The Check Engine light seems to turn itself on, and then off for a while, and then back on, and then off again. 6. The key fobs work, but only from a few feet away. I tried replacing the battery for both of them, but that did not seem to have much impact. 7. I should point out that a couple of months ago, the SRS light came on and then itself shut off. I have not seen the SRS light since then; but I want to stress that the car has never been in any kind of fender-bender. 8. Note the full-sized towing receptacle. Images Download the eBay Motors app
